Jon Stewart was awarded the Mark Twain award at the Kennedy Center. Maybe the most prestigious award a comic can get. Bruce Springsteen played Jon on to his version of the Beatle’s song 'Come Together. The well-deserved award was given to Jon not only for his comedy but for his work on behalf of the victims of 9-11 and the first responders and their families and the many other causes he's put so much of his life force into over the years. Dave Chappelle was on hand, as was Pete Davidson, Steve Carrell, Samantha Bee, and Egyptian comedian, Bassem Youssef.
And wouldn’t you know it, the editor of this substack released a snarky video. Hmmm.
