This is a great story. One because it's unique, and a tad ironic, but more because she's truly funny. Seriously strong. I try to stay out of the whole feminist, race, 'if this were a white guy' quizzes, but seriously, watch this set of hers on Don't Tell Comedy. It's strong as hell. I put it up against the first one you saw Shane Gillis do, the first one I saw Bill Hicks do, and a lot of others where I immediately bent the knee. She's in that league.
Watch the set, read the LA TIMES piece on her. She's pretty damn great.
Also, if you’re in LA tomorrow night…. GREAT SHOW. JUST SAYING.
